Day 3, Week Eight - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 2

Day 3 Week Eight 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, 22 Minute Hard Corps Resistance 2, Beachbody OCR Fit, Beachbody Workouts for Obstacle Course Racing, Obstacle Race Training with Beachbody

Ok this is going to be a very short post ha ha, but I just wanted to share some good news with you and let you know that my pull up strength was ON POINT today!

Just to give you a quick story, I actually injured my elbow mountain biking a few years ago, and it would hurt so bad while doing any type of pull up movement. Before the injury, I was able to crank out about 28 strict pull ups, and my goal was to get at least 30, and then guess what happens =)

Anyways, since starting this challenge, I feel that my pull up strength is getting much better. I still want to stay safe because I would hate to re-injure my elbow, so I am just doing what I can. After I complete my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, I will post a video on how many pull ups I can actually do, so I'm pretty excited about that. If I could hit 20, that would make me happy!

Anyways, lots of things to do (like EAT lol), so just wanted to share my workout accountability video, see you all tomorrow =)

Day 2, Week Eight - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 3 + Core 2

Day 2 Week Eight 22 Minute Hard Corps, 22 Minute Hard Corps Cardio 3 and Core 2 Workout, Facebook LIVE Workout, Free Beachbody Coaching

I was feeling a bit under the weather today, but I did what I could. It's actually pretty tough for me to slack on my workouts, but here's the kicker...... I procrastinate a lot, so it may take me awhile to workout, but once I'm in, I am ready to kill it =)

I definitely find it to be more productive to workout earlier in the day because it leaves me a lot more time to go about my day and stick to my schedule when it comes to business tasks. My issue is that I will get so involved with my online coaching business, that I will actually pile on more tasks to delay my workout =) Anyone else do that?

BUT THAT'S ON MY LAZY DAYS!

On my good days, I somehow just wake up and automatically start my day, sometimes putting my shoes on before I eat breakfast secretly preparing for a morning run, and then later doing my workout shortly after.

I'm human. I'm not trying to impress anyone =). Staying fit and healthy is still a challenge for me on certain days, but what I've found to be very helpful is finding an accountability partner who will keep me in check. I'm so blessed that my father decided to do this 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge with me, because everyday he asks me, "what's our workout for today?", and something simple as that really keeps me on my toes. Do you have someone to keep you accountable?

So I'm finally on WEEK 8 of my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge with my Dad, and it's hard to believe that we're almost done! We actually missed one workout last week, so we will be adding the last workout this Sunday, and that will be our last workout, and when we will officially have completed this 60 Day Challenge =)

I filmed an obstacle course race this past Saturday, and I was planning to do my missed workout on Sunday, but I was so BEAT TIRED that I didn't get it done, so I'll add it to the end of the week =). I'll share the obstacle racing video below from the Mud Titan 6 event which was held about 30 minutes outside of Tampa. It was a great local race organized by some very amazing people.

Getting my little workout in before I film the Mud Titan 6 race the next day! (I did this workout on 8-26-16) I ended up being really lazy and not wanting to go down to the hotel gym, so I did my workout in my room. It was pretty tight, but still doable =)

Today's workout was Resistance 3, which is the only resistance workout that requires no pull-ups. I think the most challenging move on this workout is the MOUNTAIN SQUATS, they get me every single time, and there are a ton of reps! It's definitely a great full body move which targets your core, legs, arms and shoulders. It's the ones you hate that will make you stronger!

Here's my 22 Minute Hard Corps accountability workout video!

Day 5, Week Seven - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 3

After my workout, I attended an exclusive Diamond Beachbody Coach Team Dinner in Trinity, FL. It was an amazing event, and I ate pretty good. I did cheat a little and I know it isn't an excuse, but I'll have you know that I burnt the crap out of those calories at the Mud Titan 6 Race the next morning, I'll post the race video that I created in the next post =)

Here are some photos from the Diamond Coach Dinner event which was hosted at my friend and Million Dollar Coach Earner Seay's house.

Day 3, 4 - Week Seven | 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge

Day 3 and 4 Week Seven 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, Spartan Up, 22 Minute Hard Corps Resistance 1 Workout, Cardio 3 and Core 2, Join My Beachbody Coach Team, Become a Beachbody Coach
Day 3 + 4, Week 7 Videos Below =)

The 22 Minute Hard Corps Workouts are challenging enough, let alone posting a video and blog of each workout, but I'm pretty happy that I'm almost done =) Just a little over one week left, and my Dad and I will have completed 60 days of this challenge.

What's next? Well, I think we are leaning more towards the 21 Day Fix Extreme Challenge. I've been missing some good ole classic weight-lifting, and although 21DFX is not classic lifting, it will involve a WEE_BIT more weights than 22 Minute Hard Corps, so that's good enough for me =) I will probably do a P90X3/Body Beast Hybrid Workout after 21 Day Fix Extreme, but we shall see!

I believe in bringing back the strong man mentality from the past,
technology has made us weak, it's time to #SpartanUp and
live the active lifestyle that was once the norm.

Join my Coach Team, and help me fight the trend of obesity...NOW!

Just a little summary on how I've been feeling on week 7. My core is definitely getting much stronger, and what I mean by that is I am able to complete more reps than usual without getting burned out or tired. Yesterday was a good example when I was doing Cardio 3 + Core 2. My accountability partner Steven complimented me and told me that he noticed my improvement in my core exercises, so that confirmed everything for me, other than what I've been feeling.

This past few days, I've been in Tampa visiting my daughter so I haven't been able to workout with my Dad, but he's been sending me his workout accountability pics, so yes, he's still killing it!

On this post, I will be sharing bot of my Day 3 and Day 4 accountability videos, so here they are =)

Not only is he committed to his workouts, he's been staying on point with his nutrition and drinking his Shakeology everyday =)

6 Extinct Obstacle Course Races I've Filmed and Miss!

6 Extinct Obstacle Course Races I've Filmed and Miss, The End of Battlefrog Series, Monster Challenges, Extreme Nation Hobie Call, Vintage Obstacle Course Races, Atlas Race Kansas, Filming OCR with GoPro, GoPro Filmmaker, Obstacle Race Training with P90X

So I've been making obstacle course racing (OCR) videos with my GoPro since 2011, and I've not only seen the FAST-GROWTH of this sport, but I've also witnessed the decline and extinction of many race companies, as well as athletes who have come and gone. I've filmed many athletes from their very first race to when they hit OCR Celebrity Status on national television. I was there when OCR wasn't even cool, we didn't know what to call it back then. I was pointing cameras at everyday people in mud way before NBC Sports and ESPN got involved. I've seen this sport grow from the VERY beginning, and it's been an amazing journey.

I'm not the type of person who get's involved with the politics of what goes wrong, and why decisions are made, that's not my cup of tea. If you've seen any of my videos, you will notice that I just focus on the positive side of things, and try to just share the sheer beauty of the sport. OCR has changed my life in many ways. I have met some wonderful people, and have experienced the most beautiful and toughest places on the planet, and it just saddens me when I see companies fold.

I create videos to help the sport grow, and when race companies fall from the face of the earth, I feel sadness for the athletes, as well as the companies. I look back at some of my "terribly-edited" videos from the past, and all I can see is joy. What other industry can get average people off the couch to pay hundreds of dollars to get tortured on a Saturday, and for some races...a whole weekend? OCR! =)

6 Extinct Obstacle Course Races I've Filmed and Miss, The End of Battlefrog Series, Monster Challenges, Extreme Nation Hobie Call, Vintage Obstacle Course Races, Atlas Race Kansas, Filming OCR with GoPro, GoPro Filmmaker, Obstacle Race Training with P90X

I know first-hand as an entrepreneur how difficult it is to run a company, so I understand that it's all about the bottom line. Companies do care about their fans, but they have lives and families too, and I think people sometimes forget about that. The only thing that we can do is respect each other's decision, and stop being judgmental about things that do not benefit us in a positive way.

I appreciate everything that these companies have strived for. They do what I love doing which is ripping people off the couch and making them feel more than just someone who has a 9-5 job. It's about regaining happiness, being humans again, sharing it with others, and that's how OCR has grown as one of the fastest growing sports in history.

I also do not believe in just one company. I do not call myself just a "Spartan" or a "Tough Mudder", I am an OCR fan. I believe that in order for this sport to grow much bigger than it is today, we need to stop criticizing other races and embrace what each of them are doing. People hate burpees, like they hate their jobs, but guess what, that's what is putting a roof over their head right now. When you do a burpee, it's a challenge, and whether you like doing it or not, the bottom line is that it is changing you, and isn't that what you wanted to do in the first place when you signed up for an obstacle race?

I see so much negativity with the industry, and I just block it all out because I only choose to see the bright side of things. I know that asking everyone to be positive is impossible, but if I can just help one person see the light of day, then I feel that it's a start.

I mean, if we had more people who would just be more positive, open-minded and choose OCR, instead of just ONE company, then we would probably have more amazing OCR options to choose from versus watching the companies that we love become extinct.

Love the sport, love OCR, it's time to help it grow. #OCRForLife

YES!!! Week 7 has arrived =)

So I was thinking that I only had 2 more weeks to go, but then one of my other Coaches reminded me that there is another week after the 8th week called HELL WEEK! That doesn't sound fun does it =) Now the last week is totally optional, but I'm thinking about doing it, I mean, what the heck right, what's one more added week going to do? I know, get me looking HOT lol, JK =)

Week 7 has started off great other than the fact that I had to take it easy on Day 1, Week 7 because of my gout flare up.

Today's workout that I did which was Cardio 1 and Core 2 wasn't too bad, I didn't have to modify at all, versus yesterday when I modified about 60% of the time.

At any rate, so glad that my foot is feeling much better, looks like I'll be able to finish strong this week. That's also good because I'm actually filming a local obstacle course race called Mud Titan 6 in Plant City FL this weekend, so let's hope my gout is 100% gone by then! =)

So here's my workout accountability videos from Day 1-2 of week 7.

Day 7, Week Six - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 2 + Core 2

Day 7 Week Six 22 Minute Hard Corps, 22 Minute Hard Corps Cardio 2 and Core 1, Spartan Race Training, Nashville Spartan Race Sprint 2016, OCRTUBE Media Project, Free Beachbody Coaching, Become a Beachbody Coach
Watch Video Below

My Dad and I are finally finished with WEEK 6!

For this workout, we decided to do it on Sunday since I was filming a Spartan Race around the Nashville area. So even though it was a rest day, I didn't technically take a rest day since I clocked in at running almost 9 miles chasing athletes with my Gopros =)

Today's workout was Cardio 2 and Core 2. This was considered my POST SPARTAN RACE WORKOUT. I try to stay active the day after filming races so that my body stays familiar with movement instead of staying stagnant. It keeps me sharper and stronger.

Check out my Nashville Spartan Sprint 2016 video
Day 7 Week Six 22 Minute Hard Corps, 22 Minute Hard Corps Cardio 2 and Core 1, Spartan Race Training, Nashville Spartan Race Sprint 2016, OCRTUBE Media Project, Free Beachbody Coaching, Become a Beachbody Coach

I do not try to workout hard or anything, instead I mostly modify and sometimes just do stretch and mobility. After doing the 9 miles, my gout started flaring up again on top of a little soreness, so I decided to really take it easy, and just modify about 50-60% of the time. Here are the modifications that I did:

For the most part, I took away anything that was considered high-impact, and just did the alternative.

- Since my right foot is where my gout is flaring, I did single leg burpees on my left leg.

- I didn't squat as low on some reps since my quads were still burning from yesterday.

- For the switch kicks, I just did leg lifts to ensure that I didn't put anymore pressure on my right foot.

- I didn't really modify the mountain climbers, I just didn't do all the reps. With mountain climbers, there isn't too much pressure on your feet since you are in a plank push up position.

- I didn't go as high on the "high-knees" I went a bit slower and took pressure off my right foot.

These were just some of the modifications that I did to keep it safe. I still managed to get in a great workout as always. We did the Core 2 Workout right after, which is not shown in the video.

Here's our workout accountability video!

T25 Total Body Circuit + Max 30 Abs Attack Workout

Day 2 Week Six 22 minute Hard Corps Challenge, T25 Total Body Circuit Workout, Insanity Max 30 Ab Attack Workout, Pensacola Fit Club, Beachbody Fitness Motivation
Watch Video Below

So my Dad and I decided to replace our 22 Minute Hard Corps Workout today with T25 Total Body Circuit and Max 30 Abs Attack.

Today's workout was supposed to be Cardio 2 + Core 2, but since the workout at Pensacola Fit Club was very similar, and about 3 minutes longer, it would be like doing our 22 Minute Hard Corps workout  =). I don't normally replace workouts during a challenge, and I don't really recommend it, but if the workouts are fairly the same, especially if they are Beachbody workouts (my preference), then I would say that it's ok. You do what you feel is right for you. As for me, as long as the intensity factor is the same, and it is not a recurring thing, then doing it once or twice during a challenge won't hurt anything.

Reduce Stress - Feel Great - Enjoy the Experience

You hear the excuses all the time, "oh, I'm on vacation, I'm just going to live life right now!". I am even GUILTY AS CHARGED because I've said the same thing many times.

We live in a world where so many people have become followers of what everyone else is doing, what they see on TV, and what the high-budget media companies are promoting etc. I have fallen into that trap countless times because heck, my friends were doing it, then it must be the thing to do..WTF! What happened to individualism? What happened to doing what's right for you?

When I committed to a health and fitness journey in 2010, it was the best decision that I ever made in my life. Through the years, I've learned a lot, and one thing that I continue to learn is how to stay active and healthy when I am doing one of my ultimate passions......TRAVEL.

TRAVEL means different things to different people, but when I think of travel, I categorize it apart from taking a vacation. For me, travel is either long-term (longer than a weekend getaway), or traveling for business. Taking a vacation for me is like a weekend getaway, just a quick jaunt before heading back to work or home life.

How I Workout When I Travel, Fitness Travel, Beachbody On Demand, Beachbody Global, Working Out and Travel, Travel Workout, Staying Active While Traveling

Travel is a lot more than just a weekend jaunt. For me, it's about taking your time, and fully immersing yourself in the culture and living the lands like the locals. Business travel is a little different in the fact that there is a project to work on aside from trying to have a travel experience, and some business travelers don't even have time to explore, and that really sucks =) So if you're a business traveler, you should definitely keep reading =)

Long-term and business travel can really be STRESS- FULL at times, which is why I have found many ways to help me stay active to reduce the amount of stress that can happen.

However you travel or vacation, I just wanted to share with you how I have managed to stay active and workout while on the go. When people say, I don't have time to workout, I'm on vacation, so I'm just going to live my life......I say the same thing, I am living my life as well, but I don't need alcohol and junk food to have a good life.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, I love a cheat meal here and there, but I also know that I only have one body, one chance, and it is my responsibility to take care of what has been given to me.

I've heard of many people on their death beds fighting for their lives because they took their bodies for granted and smoked themselves to death, and filled their temples up with modified and processed foods for years! Are they living their life now? Was it worth it to feel like that? Most people would agree that, THAT ISN'T THE LIFE THEY WANTED TO LIVE.

I'm definitely not here to tell anyone what to do with their bodies, but if no one is here to tell the truth about how to really live a good, healthy and active lifestyle, then people might not ever experience what true happiness may be. I'm SOOOO glad that I had people in my life that spoke the truth to me, and released me from my life of alcohol and junk foods. GET THIS, I didn't like everything they had to say, but guess what, they honestly saved my life! Do you have people in your life that really tell you the truth? Or are they just telling you what you want to hear?

HOW I WORKOUT WHEN I TRAVEL:

1.  I always take a walking or bike tour at every city that I visit. You sit at the office all day at work, why would you sit on your ass on a bus tour? LET'S DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT SHALL WE =) Don't like taking tours? Go rent a bike an explore on your own!
Biking through Temples of Bagan, Myanmar (Burma)
How I Workout When I Travel, Fitness Travel, Beachbody On Demand, Beachbody Global, Working Out and Travel, Travel Workout, Staying Active While Traveling

2.  I look for a gym or outdoor park. Sometimes you will find free day passes on a gym's website, and all you have to do is print them out and go. When I do pay for a day pass, I treat that as a day tour because it's somewhere that I've never been, and I have the opportunity to explore another gym. If you are staying at a hotel, ask if there is a gym facility, if they have one, it's most likely free to use.

I prefer outdoor parks because I love doing my workouts with nature. I tend to look for outdoor parks that have outdoor fitness equipment, and most of the time, it's free.

3.  I look for Free Boot Camps. I've participated in Free Beachbody Fit Clubs, Beach Yoga Classes, outdoor boot camps, local running groups, and OCR trainings all over the world. If you want to find a free workout somewhere and meet other people, it's simple.....GOOGLE IT.

5.  I look for running trails. You will mostly find running trails at some of the outdoor parks. I love trail running because it's peaceful to me. Just make sure that if you are running through some remote places, I recommend that you bring some sort of protection like a small pocket knife or a stick. I've ran through mountains before and have come across everything from mountain lions to alligators, so having something is better than nothing. And always bring water just in case you get lost in a jungle =)

Local college or high school tracks are great places to get a free workout/run in too!

I also look into local running events such as 5K's and Marathons. You will find some free to donation based events, and nothing beats traveling and giving back to the community.

6.  Always take the stairs. From the moment I arrive at my destination, I take the stairs. Every movement counts, and let's just say that you were trekking or exploring on foot all day (even at the mall) and you weren't able to get a workout in, at least you did STAIRS.

So that's about it. I hope this helps you stay active during your travels, and I hope to see you somewhere around the world. If you need some extra health and fitness motivation, feel free to contact me here =)

Day 1, Week Six - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 1

Day 1 Week Six 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, 22 Minute Hard Corps Resistance 1 Workout, Beachbody Challenge, Choosing a Beachbody Coach, Become a Beachbody Coach
Watch Video Below

WAHOO!!! Week 6 is finally here =)

Today's workout was Resistance 1 and my niece even decided to join us, and she did amazing! I think the toughest part of the workout was the pull ups and of course the BURNOUT round at the end with the Sprint, Burpee, Push Ups.

Here's the thing, this 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge is a 60 day program, and it is pretty impossible to maintain 100% of your energy and strength for that amount of time. So today was one of those days where I had to tone it down a bit and listen to my body. Don't get me wrong, I still pushed myself to the limits, but I also know that if I do not pace myself, I could either get injured, become overtrained, or even discouraged, and I do not want that to happen. NO WAY!

What will it be? You got this!!
Day 1 Week Six 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, 22 Minute Hard Corps Resistance 1 Workout, Beachbody Challenge, Choosing a Beachbody Coach, Become a Beachbody Coach

So if you are doing a challenge, or any type of workout, it doesn't have to be a set program or anything like that, I would recommend that you always make a point to listen to your body and put your ego aside, and keep it safe. In my experience, you will get better results, and will also have a more enjoyable time working out =)

If you have any questions about 22 Minute Hard Corps, or any other Beachbody Workouts, please feel free to contact me here, I'd love to assist you!

So here's my daily accountability video =)

Arnel Banawa Confessions - Q&A Time

Arnel Banawa, Q&A Time, Beachbody Coach Confessions, Beachbody Coach Life, OCRTUBE, Beachbody Coach Travel, Digital Nomad Life, Obstacle Course Racing, About Arnel Banawa, How To Travel the World

Let me start off by saying that I am not the type of person who enjoys being in the SPOTLIGHT. I'm sure that a lot of you know me from some of the obstacle course racing videos that I create for my OCRTUBE media project, and you will see that most of my videos are FOCUSED on other people, and not myself =).

It brings me joy to be able to document the journey, struggles, and triumphs of the people around me, and that's one of the reasons why I am very passionate about what I do as a Beachbody Coach, I just love helping people, and making it about them.

So WHY a Q&A about me?

I've turned down a few interviews only because again, I just do not feel comfortable being in the spotlight, I actually run from it, not because I'm afraid, but mostly because I take my life and my family VERY seriously, I enjoy my private life, as I'm sure that most of you do as well.

My #FitFam =)
Arnel Banawa, Q&A Time, Beachbody Coach Confessions, Beachbody Coach Life, OCRTUBE, Beachbody Coach Travel, Digital Nomad Life, Obstacle Course Racing, About Arnel Banawa, How To Travel the World

I've learned a lot as a Beachbody Coach, in terms of leading my team and challengers to success, and it's been a rollercoaster, but these are the things that have made me SPARTAN strong. I stay out of the limelight so that I can focus on the people who matter most to me, like my family and my coach team. These people have dedicated A LOT of their blood, sweat, and tears with me, and they truly deserve my full attention, so I reserve that EXCLUSIVELY for them. =)

I've created a few social media channels for other people to learn more about me, and what I do because I know the importance of building relationships. If I'm not relatable, then why would people want me to coach them right?

A lot of people ask me what I do for a living, and they are always shocked to find out that I am a full-time Beachbody Coach! I mean, I literally run an internet fitness company from my smartphone and/or my macbook, and that's how I am able to travel and film a lot of the obstacle races that you see on my YOUTUBE channel. Again, I don't say this to brag because it was pretty damn TOUGH to get where I am, and I am just now scratching the surface and getting started. People think SUCCESS just comes easy sometimes especially if they're only looking from the outside in, BUT I struggled a lot for years! I've hit rock bottom, slept in my car for months on end, and used to live off of RAMEN NOODLES (that's a good week), so I know about struggle. I know what HARD is. It's not fun, and all I knew was that I didn't want to live that crappy life anymore, so I quit making excuses. I focused on being an honorable father to my daughter, and everything started coming into place.

My social media channels are focused on sharing my journey with people (good and bad) and to hopefully make an impact around the world. It's NOT to show off, or make anyone think that I am better than they are (because I'm not), I definitely have a lot of weaknesses, and I am by no means PERFECT, no way!

I am just like most of you who just wants to be happy, provide for my family, travel around the world, and leave a legacy.

So back to the Q&A, I've had a number of questions lately about what I do, and who I am, so instead of spending all day messaging and sharing on my social networks, I felt that it would make sense to post a blog on some of the common questions that I've been receiving, so here goes! =) I'm just going to cover a few questions now, and will post another blog later.

ARE YOU SINGLE?
Yes, I am single. It's not that I don't believe in marriage or relationships, it's because it's not a priority for me. I've met a ton of people who are unhappy, and they always say this, "If I could just find someone to be with me, then I would be happy". That BS!! Make yourself happy, and the person you meet someday will just enhance your life. I don't ever go out looking for relationships, it's not natural. Things will happen when it's meant to happen, so my piece of advice is to relax and enjoy your life! Learn to be happy with who you are first, and you'll be surprised how amazing your life will be.

HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO TRAVEL ALL THE TIME?
Well, I don't really travel all the time, but I have a online business that allows me to be location-independent. As long as I have internet, I can work from anywhere around the world. And FYI, this didn't happen overnight (so don't think for a minute that this opportunity just fell into my lap), I went through many failed businesses since 2002, and finally found something that gave me the opportunity to become digitally nomadic. Not everyone can travel like I do or would like to travel like I do, but I'm not like everyone, and you shouldn't be either.

WHAT WORKOUTS DO YOU DO AND RECOMMEND?
I've been doing Beachbody Specific Workouts since 2010. My first program that I completed was P90X which helped me hit some PR's (1:36 half marathon, 19:30 5K) and I even hit some podium wins in OCR being in the top 10% precent. I think that I've completed most of the advanced Beachbody programs (primarily the ones that are strength and athletic-based specific), and I continue to do the workouts, mostly creating hybrid programs to help me stay in peak physical condition for adventure traveling and filming races in some of the most toughest terrains around the world. They've worked for me all these years, and the company Beachbody continues to be innovative with the latest movements in exercise science. I recommend that people do whatever they feel is good for them. It's not about what I do, it's about what your goals are. If you ask me to help you, I can only give you advice based on what I've learned with my experiences with my workouts, as well as learning from some of the best OCR and endurance athletes in the world.

WHY DON'T YOU RACE COMPETITIVELY ANYMORE?
Almost 3 years ago I endured my first injury while obstacle racing. I popped my knee out going down a mountain in Killington, VT. Since then, my knee has never been the same. I also unfortunately inherited the infamous Gout from my family line, which has gotten a lot worse with age, especially with some of my more extreme workouts, including long distance running. I was feeling sorry for myself for the longest time because of the athletic goals that I set for myself, the ones that I could not achieve because of my condition. But I have come to a realization that I cannot control everything, so it's best to make due with what I have, and make the best of my life and appreciate the fact that I am alive and healthy.

I still workout, I still run, I still live an active lifestyle, and instead of training for a race, I am simply training just to be active and happy. These days I am more focused on my nutrition, coaching people, and growing my cause-related media project.

------------------------------------------

So to wrap things up, I'd like to say that I've had a wonderful 45 years of learning the in's and out's of life, and I look forward to continuing my journey because the day that I stop learning is the day I stop living, and I'm definitely not done yet!
